  1. Mia Mitns was born in Houston, Texas but grew up in multiple places including California, Colorado, and a few other areas around Texas She graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia and Western University in Pomona, California Mia started writing poetry and short stories when she was young and continued through high school In college, she drifted away from writing to focus on her studies in the sciences Years later, after graduating from Spelman, Mia took a creative writing class that re ignited her passion for telling stories She began with random short stories, which led her to revisit poetry At the time, Mia began to learn the guitar, and so her love of music led her to learn how to write lyrics, which led to songwriting After Mia finished graduate school, she was able to write her first novel, Tea Leaf What Hides Beneath, an urban fantasy story that was born from a strange dream When she is not writing or reading, she enjoys listening to music, going to concerts, trying to play guitar, playing basketball, and drawing She lives in Texas with her plants.

  2. Right when I was getting into the story, it ended The writing was okay I just didn t expect it to end mid paragraph Would I read the rest of the series Maybe I feel like this was a taste of the next book, not an actual book itself.

  3. too short The story was too short It just feels like it is a snippet from s larger story Still not bad for what it was.
